Why Byron Bay?

As a world-famous wellness hub, Byron Bay is renowned for its clean air, healing waters and exceptional organic produce. The area attracts some of Australia’s best healthcare practitioners and our integrated clinic and retreat are the ideal environments for optimising your health, well-being and healing.

What to do in Byron Bay?

Byron Bay is the destination for people who want to relax and de-stress, enjoying the wonderful beaches, ocean and community spirit of the area. It’s also the destination for people seeking help from professional practitioners to aid their healing and help optimise their health and well-being.

During your stay at our integrated clinic retreat in Byron Bay, you might like to explore the area and enjoy some of our local attractions, before returning home. There’s so much to do and see in Byron Bay that it’s difficult to pick the best attractions, however, here are a few that are at the top of our list.

Whale watching: Whilst we have an amazing array of local wildlife in the area (wallabies, koalas, echidnas, sea turtles, dolphins and sea birds), it’s the whales that migrate north from May to October that are the big drawcard. Watching whales frolic in the ocean might just be the way to kickstart your healing process.

Ocean swimming: Check out Belongil Beach, Wategos Beach or The Pass for glittering sand and crystal clear ocean waters. An idyllic way to cleanse your spirit and lighten your soul.

Track walking: The 3.7km track from the Captain Cook Lookout to the Cape Byron Lighthouse takes you along a beautiful part of our coastline. With breathtaking sunrise views from the most easterly point in Australia, this is the perfect way to start your day.

Market day: Byron is famous for its produce markets with the most popular being the Byron Farmers Market that’s held every Thursday at 7am. Sample their fresh produce or stop for a leisurely breakfast – Byron is the place to relax and enjoy life.

Hinterland exploration: With the Hinterland so close, it’s the perfect time to explore our country towns, local restaurants, hidden waterfalls, spectacular views and World Heritage rainforest.

Healing & meditation: Located just 1.5km from Byron Bay’s town centre is where you will find our renowned integrated clinic and retreat at The Health Lodge. Nestled in our own acreage property, our professional practitioners can help you find the source of your health issues and create a pathway to wellness.

Why not call our reception and make an appointment with one of our practitioners? Maybe book a healing retreat with our day patient program here.
