Communicating with our integrative medicine practitioners

If you need to communicate with our integrative medicine practitioners, our client support team is available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. They manage the administrative needs of our practitioners at The Health Lodge and can be contacted directly via phone, email or in-person. Our friendly staff will answer your cares and support questions quickly and efficiently. 

They will convey any messages to your practitioner or seek guidance from our integrative medicine practitioners and respond to you as soon as possible. Please note that your practitioner may not be available on a daily basis and therefore response times may be delayed due to their schedule. Our client support team will let you know when your practitioner is next scheduled to attend the clinic, so that you are aware of any possible time delays with your response.

Repeat scripts and referrals

All repeat scripts and referrals require an appointment with one of our integrative medicine practitioners.

Results and pathology request forms

You need to book a consultation with your GP to discuss your results. If you would like a copy of your results please request these at the time of your appointment. Results can only be released once they have been discussed with one of our integrative medicine practitioners. Repeat pathology request forms require an appointment with your GP. 

Cancellation policy

If you cancel or reschedule your consultation within 24 hours of your booked appointment, an administrative fee will be charged. Same day cancellations or non-attendances will incur a charge of the full appointment fee. If you call on the weekend or when the medical clinic is closed and need to cancel, please ensure that you leave a voicemail or send an email to info@thehealthlodge.com.au.

Want to ask your integrative medicine practitioners a question?

We understand that there are times when you may need clarification on aspects of your treatment plan. In these instances, please contact our friendly client support team for assistance. They will advise you whether they can seek clarification from one of your integrative medicine practitioners or due to the complexity of your requirements, you need to book a consultation to ensure quality of care.

Payment, Medicare and Private Health rebates

The Health Lodge offers both Medicare and Private health rebates for many of our practitioners. We can process your rebates on-site at the time of your consultation, but please remember to bring your Medicare and Private Health cards with you to your appointment.

Telehealth appointments

Our integrative medicine practitioners offer telehealth (phone or video) appointments to patients who do not live locally. We use Healthdirect as our telehealth video platform. Payment details must be provided at the time of booking for telehealth consultations.

To access The Health Lodge via video, simply click HERE and you’ll join our virtual waiting room. Your practitioner will join your consultation when ready.

For phone appointments, please inform our client support team that you would like a phone consultation and your preferred contact number. Your practitioner will contact you when ready for your consultation.

Fragrance-free environment

The ingredients in scented products can make people unwell, especially those with fragrance sensitivities, asthma, allergies and other medical conditions.

In respect of our community of patients, staff and practitioners we kindly ask you to not wear perfume, cologne, aftershave and other fragrances when attending The Health Lodge.
