The Health Lodge medical retreat programs have been developed and designed utilising our integrative and collaborative healthcare approach. 

This approach incorporates the best medical and complementary therapies, combining the wisdom of multiple modalities and expert practitioners, which together create a synergistic opportunity for healing. Our years of clinical practice has demonstrated how a carefully designed program can integrate and amplify the healing effects of the individual modalities. 

Through our medical retreat programs we offer a deeply supportive structure that assists in your healing process. This supportive and considered process begins with your initial discovery call and extends through your stay with us and into an after stay program to ensure your care and healing continues at home.

Overview of an Integrative Medical Retreat

Our Byron Bay integrative medical retreats begin with a 5 or 10-day program, offering personalized care to address your unique health needs. These retreats provide in-depth sessions with our expert healthcare team, alongside personalized nutrition, true wellness accommodation, and a serene healing environment.

Start Your Healing Journey:

Personalised coordinated care

Our coordinated care programs evolved from our integrative practice at The Health Lodge. This practice combines different therapies scheduled in the right order to unify and magnify their effects. Your program is tailored to your specific needs.

Your team of professional healthcare practitioners meets twice weekly to collaborate, share their knowledge to understand the drivers of your illness and develop a treatment protocol aimed at addressing the drivers, not just your symptoms. This collaborative approach allows your team to create, manage and review your care program.

How to get started

Assessment & Program Coordination

Your program begins with an initial 60-minute intake phone or telehealth consultation with our program coordinator to plan your personalised health retreat. During this consultation, we take an in-depth case history, review your pathology and specialist reports and organise further tests, if necessary.

Following this consultation, your case is presented to our healthcare professional team of 20 practitioners and they develop your individualised treatment program. Once your program is finalised, we book the dates at our medical retreat centre, arrange accommodation and plan your meals with our Wellness Chef.

After your stay: a long-term integrated approach

At The Health Lodge, we are dedicated to optimising your recovery and improving your long-term health.

Following your integrative health retreat at The Health Lodge, you’ll receive a comprehensive and easy-to-follow after-care program, as well as complete records of your consultations and diagnostic reports. Follow-up sessions are arranged via telehealth to support your continued health improvements and optimise your long-term health.

Program Cost & Inclusions

Our health programs are designed to bring you long-lasting well-being by not only giving you answers to your health issues, but also the tools you need to address these issues.

5 Day Program $8,000 + GST

10 Day Program $16,000 + GST

5 DAY STAY:

  • 4 nights accommodation
  • 5 days of nutritionist designed meals
  • 12 practitioner sessions
  • 2 Bathhouse sessions
  • Comprehensive discharge report with after-care instructions


10 DAY STAY:

  • 9 nights accommodation
  • 10 days of nutritionist designed meals
  • 25 practitioner sessions
  • 4 Bathhouse sessions
  • Comprehensive discharge report with after-care instructions

Some optional services attract additional fees that are not included in the retreat price. These include:

  • IV Vitamin Therapy (refer to Price List)
  • Supplementation and medication
  • Overnight nursing ($1000 per night)
  • Overnight carer ($500 per night)
  • Private pathology – as per individual costs
  • Advanced or unplanned diagnostic procedures
  • Consultation with external medical specialists
  • Extra in-house consultations
  • Colonics
  • Airport transfers from Ballina or Coolangatta, if required.

Payment Policy

  • Full payment is required within 48 hours of booking to secure your retreat dates. 


Cancellation Policy

  • More than 7 days: Cancellations 7 days or more prior to the commencement of your integrative retreat will incur an administrative fee of $1000. The full amount minus the $1000 administrative fee will be refunded to you within 10 business days.
  • 7 days to 72 hours: Cancellations 7 days to 72 hours prior to commencement of your integrative retreat will incur an administrative fee of $2000. The balance of the payment will be refunded to you within 10 business days.
  • 72 hours or less: Cancellations 72 hours or less prior to commencement of your integrative retreat will incur a full fee charge, no refunds are given.
