Laxatone may be used as a laxative, and to produce more regular bowel movements as it contains traditional Western herbs to help relieve constipation. Cascara has been used in traditional Western herbal medicine to assist in the management and the relief of constipation. Laxatone combines cascara with other traditional Western herbs, including ginger, which may soothe intestinal spasm and produce more regular bowel movements.
