Supplements

1. 1. Drink the Spring Cleanse Tea at least 3 cups throughout the day you can make it cold with some ice and lemon or warm.
2. Dry skin brush before the shower. Follow our instructions on the included handout to increase circulation, and promote lymphatic flow.
3. Walk after meals for at least 30minutes a day. Walking after meals can stimulate digestion and increase serotonin making you feel lighter and happier.
Remember to move your arms as you walk to get your lymph moving.
4. Take the supplements in the kit as prescribed for 2 weeks to help cleanse, nourish and support the body after the winter months.

Dietary 1. Consume a diet rich in vitamins, minerals and nutrients that support detoxification. (cut and let sit for an hour to help activate the enzyme to promote sulforaphanes- a phytochemical to help fight off cancer cells, reduce high blood pressure, stabilise blood sugar levels)

2. Your diet during a spring cleanse should be rich in colour and nutrients that support and replenish your body on a cellular level. Your meal plan should consist of plenty of brightly coloured vegetables, nutrient-dense leafy greens, cancerfighting cruciferous veggies, juicy berries, nourishing seeds, free-range lean meats and wild fish.
3. Select organic produce and grass fed organic meats as much as possible to avoid pesticide and herbicide exposure.
4. Choose fiber-rich foods that will bind to toxins in the digestive tract and help them to be excreted from the body effectively or take a fibre supplement (such as our Design For Health Paleo Fibre). 5. Drink at least 2-3 liters of filtered water per day to clear watersoluble toxins via the kidneys. Herbal teas are also great options!
6. Avoid alcohol soft drinks and caffeine during your cleanse, both of which produce additional stress on your liver. 7. Avoid inflammatory foods, which include: ◦ Added sugars and artificial sweeteners. ◦ Trans-fats (margarine, fried foods, packaged foods)
◦ Genetically modified foods ◦ Potential food sensitivities like gluten, dairy, corn and soy.
8. Enjoy at least 8 hours of sleep per night so that your body has adequate time for cellular renewal and repair.
9. Decrease your environmental exposure to synthetic chemicals and pesticides by choosing organic produce and choosing natural cosmetics and cleaning supplies.
