Simon explores the relationship we can have with our environment around us and how nature can contribute significantly to our wellbeing. There is a wealth of evidence that increased nature connection brings health and wellbeing benefits, including reduce stress and anxiety, and increasing resilience and immune function.
Simon DuBois has more than 20 years’ experience supporting people in the Byron Shire. Over the years he has developed a reputation for helping his patients explore psychological distress in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Simon works with traditional treatment therapies, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy and Mindfulness. He is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation Therapy (EMDR), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) and Polyvagal Therapy for the treatment of trauma based distress and can provide treatment for depression and pain with the use of non-invasive Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS).
