Exploring Burnout with Dr Chris Stevens and Reine DuBois

Following the interview with Ryan Trainer’s podcast Trainable about Burnout (podcast videos/links below). I was fortunate enough to talk with Dr Chris Stevens and Naturopath Reine DuBois about this health syndrome.

Reine DuBois is a functional medicine practitioner and has worked integratively with doctors since graduating as a naturopath in 1998.  Reine is one of Australia’s leading integrative naturopaths, founder of The Health Lodge and has lectured for ACNEM, AIMA, MINDD and ANS on the powerful method of integrative medicine. Simon DuBois has more than 20 years’ experience supporting people in the Byron Shire. Over the years he has developed a reputation for helping his patients explore psychological distress in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Simon works with traditional treatment therapies, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy and Mindfulness. He is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation Therapy (EMDR), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) and Polyvagal Therapy for the treatment of trauma based distress and can provide treatment for depression and pain with the use of non-invasive Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS).
